What is the Up-TU-Date Expo? Are there two tracks? Who is it for?
Exciting news! This year, we’re hosting two fantastic expos.
First up, from Wednesday to Thursday, it’s The Executive Expo – a unique opportunity for executive leaders.
From Wednesday to Sunday, don’t miss The Chinuch Expo – the ultimate event for education-based providers and resources.
How do I reserve a booth?
Torah Umesorah has partnered with Powwow Events for both tradeshows. For all expo-related questions, kindly complete this form or contact joel@powwowevent.com.
Are rooms included with my booth reservation?
Unfortunately not. Kindly make your reservation here.
Will there be babysitting?
Yes, we’re happy to offer babysitting for children aged 3 and under during sessions only, starting with the Pre-Convention. Please note that babysitters won’t be available during meals, except for Shalosh Seudos. We highly recommend taking advantage of the Shalosh Seudos babysitting services! To use our babysitting service, please ensure you’ve registered your child using the Child Care Registration Form. The fee is $40 per child.
I am flying in from out-of-town. Can I reserve a crib? What about highchairs?
Yes, we do have some availability, but it’s limited. There’s a $20 charge per night. If you will need a crib, don’t forget to add one to your registration!
Kalahari has a limited number of high chairs/booster seats, so we recommend bringing your own if you need one.
Are meals included in my reservation?
If I plan on attending for the day, without hotel reservations, can I buy meals separately?
I made reservations for Shabbos. Does the resort have manual keys?
What time is check-in? Can I check-in early?
I am checking out on Friday and not staying for Shabbos. Can I have a late checkout time?
I need to leave Motzei Shabbos. Is there a Motzei Shabbos checkout?
Unfortunately, that option is not available. You’re welcome to leave Motzei Shabbos, but please note that the rate will still apply through Sunday. We appreciate your understanding.
Who is the Caterer/Hashgacha for the Convention?
If you have any questions about Kashrus, hashgacha, or any special needs, please call Chap-a-Nosh directly at 516-374-5100.
How do I go about making my Shabbos Seating arrangements?
Shabbos Seating request forms will be sent along with your confirmation invoice. Please choose either Family Style Seating, Couples Dining areas without mechitza (2-top), or separate men’s and women’s dining rooms. Please remember to send your preference to the TU office as soon as you can, as we close out seating requests by Thursday of the Convention.
Your assigned seat will be posted near the designated dining rooms before Shabbos.
Who is speaking this year at convention? Where can I see the program?
The complete Convention program usually comes out about a week or two before the event. Be sure to check back on our site or look for our publication in the Yated and Hamodia, where we’ll share the schedule highlights.
I need a program for funding purposes from the Board of Education. How can I get a copy?
I won't be able to attend the entire convention. Will recordings be available? What about Livestreaming?
Absolutely! You’ll be able to purchase audio recordings (for most sessions) on the spot and after the Convention.
We’re hoping to live-stream some sessions (usually Thursday night and Motzei Shabbos are live), but we’re still figuring out which ones. Be sure to check our site closer to the event for updates.
And, since we have partnered with Torahanytime.com, most of our Convention sessions will be available to watch after the convention!
How and when can I go about getting customized bills or receipts?
Will TU help me find a ride to the convention?
